Work is slowly progressing on the Mustang, first I sanded away a few coats of old paint (at some places I counted 12 coats!!) until I reached a surprisingly good original green color, after that I test-fitted all the panels and all the seams are perfect now. I take it apart again and start with straightening the body. Now the real work begins....
In the meantime I sprayed the roll cage of the fabulous 1970 'Cuda dragracer wich will be my next project.
This will be good, think of the 70s, Metalflake, and... well, I can't tell, it's a surprise for the owner :D
And this makes me very happy too, remember from a few posts back that I found a 354 Hemi? A friend is welding a aluminium intake manifold for a 6-71 blower for it!! The engine needs a total rebuild, but we couldn't resist doing this first, here you see a "in progress" pic.
